Joel St.Germain, CEO & Founder

Joel St.Germain founded Global Communications Group, Inc. (GCG) in 2002 after a successful career as a top producer for many of the leading carriers including AT&T and MCI among others. Joel held numerous direct carrier sales and management positions including global account management for AT&T’s largest accounts and MCI’s largest accounts in the Midwest region.

Joel serves as the President and CEO of Global Communications Group and is responsible for executive management responsibilities including the overall strategic direction of the company. Together with the GCG Management Team, Joel is responsible for developing the sales and marketing strategies, support and value added applications that drive revenue and provide support for top performing agents and sales partners today and into the future.

 


Mike Armstrong, VP of Sales Engineering

As Vice President of Sales and Engineering, Mike brings 20+ years managing technical and sales teams to Global Communications Group and has over 12 years direct experience developing holistic telecommunication solutions for a wide variety of Fortune 50, 100 and 1000 customers.

In addition, Mike has worked on the operation side of the manufacturing, medical and financial industries and was the CIO for a large multi-national data storage company, so he brings real world experience whenever designing solutions for a customer.


Heidi Humphreys, Office Manager

Heidi Humphreys has been with Global Communications Group for 4 years and has grown with the company wearing many different hats during her employment. Heidi is GCG’s current office manager maintaining the office environment, technology needs for our employees, human resources, managing the commissions for our agents as well as working to develop and manage our internal systems for our back office team to be able to efficiently manage our customer and agent’s needs from tracking quotes to order provisioning and beyond.


Bob West, Director of Marketing

Since 2005, Bob West has been the Director of Marketing at GCG. Bob directs the firm’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs, and corporate communications. He works to facilitate client development through marketing and sales programs and designs and implements the firm’s bi-annual comprehensive marketing plan. Bob is an expert in internet marketing, advertising, corporate branding, social media marketing, interactive media, SEO, website design and development, and market analysis. Bob earned his BBA in marketing and management from Mesa State College and his MBA in finance and accounting from Regis University.


Greg Heidenfelder, VP of Sales Operations

Greg has worked in the telecom and network industry for over 15 years. He has worked with a wide range of customers implementing and supporting a myriad of services and technologies including: VoIP, T1/PRI voice, Cisco CallManager, Dedicated Internet Access, Security Appliances, VPN, Integrated Access, Frame Relay, and more. Greg’s focus has always been on maintaining a high ethical standard while trying to provide a superior level of valued services to his clients.


Derek Casebolt, Director of Mobility

As a business professional in the world of wireless, Derek has provided his business customers with the expertise needed to keep them efficient all while watching the bottom line. In Derek’s 13+ years in the wireless business he has worked as an Account Executive, Sales Manager and Director of Sales for AT&T Mobility, handling accounts as small as 5 employees and as large as Fortune 200 sized companies, along with local, state and federal government accounts. Derek has always focused his efforts on helping his customers get the most out of their wireless spend. Derek has worked closely with CFO’s, CIO’s and the IT/IS Departments, along with different department heads for different wireless line of business solutions. Derek’s new role at Global Communications Group allows him to be a non-biased consultant for businesses who are looking to either cut costs out of their wireless spend or improve service, or both.

 

Thomas Hayes, Global Sales Engineer

As Global Sales Engineer, Thomas brings 25+ years of technical expertise to Global Communications Group and has over 12 years direct experience developing complete telecommunication solutions for a wide variety of SMB and Enterprise clients.

 

In addition, Thomas served 9 years with the US Army and 5 years with the US Marines. Thomas has worked on the operational side as a voice and data field engineer, so he understand the requirement for a correctly designed and operational telecommunications solution for customers.
