Rick Anderson is a Senior Sales Management and Operations Executive with a solid track record of securing and supporting relationships within strategic enterprise and managed service operations. His extensive experience encompasses business environments from early-stage start-up to global enterprise organizations, with an emphasis on operational launch, sales, business strategy, and business transformation. The course of his career has included leading a $150M firm in sales for 5 years, winning a $40M federal contract and ultimately being assigned to initiate operational start-up in support of that contract for technical delivery with the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab Federal Operations in Pasadena, California. As National Manager of Staffing for a $3 Billion Telecommunications provider, Rick designed a four-region delivery model yielding 2000 new hires annually. In 2004, amidst a well-documented technology downturn, Rick was brought in to reposition an early stage start-up, and for 6 years as Equity Partner and Vice President of Sales & Operations, he transformed the single-office operation into a multi-office multi-million dollar tech firm supporting enterprise-level clients within the Commercial, Federal and State sectors from offices in Michigan, Washington DC and Oahu Hawaii, increasing revenue by 700%.
More recently, Rick has helped start-ups, as well as established national and global technology service provider organizations, interested in launching new platforms, products, and services. Rick is known for developing and retaining high-performance teams via utilization of proven metrics-based sales management tools and methodologies such as Miller Heiman, SalesForce.com and leading Social Media tools. Currently, Rick serves as Board Vice President for the Colorado Technology Association and is Director of Consulting for Global Communications Group, DBA as Global Consulting Group.
In terms of community involvement, Rick has been active on multiple boards and is active as a volunteer within his community. Rick grew up in Michigan and attended Wayne State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Psychology.
